Often, the recommended anesthesia resources can be overwhelming to beginners who are first grappling with the material. As such, we have designed this guide for third- and fourth-year medical students on their anesthesia rotations. We are attempting to use our experience as anesthesiology residents to highlight the most pertinent material for beginners.

This is not a comprehensive guide. But for beginners and those who are not pursuing the field, our aim is that this will be a singular resource to expose you to the most exciting field in medicine.
